Re-released on the Artificial Dance label in collaboration with the long-running cult Dutch label Trumpett. King Ende Shneafliet were active from 1981 to 1988, the ‘King’ in their name is a reference to legendary producer King Tubby. Their music is raw, lo-fi, spaced-out and forward-thinking, combining effects-laden, sample-heavy sound collages and reverberating ambient soundscapes with pulsating proto-electro jams and moody minimal wave instrumentals.
