Packaging for a lost ‘art record’ by Italian electronic wave duo Ruins and painter Luigi Viola, reissued by Amsterdam label Music From Memory. Marea/Tide was originally released in 1984 and showcased alongside exhibitions and listening sessions at the well-known Villa Sagredo in Venice. It was planned as the first in a Sound and Image series, however due to poor management and disagreements with the label which produced the record, half of the copies were destroyed and it disappeared almost completely without trace. The new version comes packaged in a gatefold sleeve including a bonus 7” with unreleased tracks and a printed insert with updated liner notes.
